The Cooper Family: Three Generations of Catering Excellence
It all started in Windy City – Chicago, where Frank, Steve Cooper’s Father-in-law ran his own family restaurant for decades. All Grandpa Frank wanted was to bring people together over great food. His warmth and dedication became the backbone of his business, a place where friends and family shared meals and created memories.
Inspired by his father-in-law’s passion, Steve followed in his footsteps out here in California. He learned the ropes of the business from the best. After years of dedicated tutelage, he charted his own path with his own restaurant that grew and eventually flourished into Canyon Catering.
Sandy Cooper: Owner – Canyon Catering (1993 – Present)
Steve Cooper: President, CEO – Keno’s Restaurant and Canyon Catering (1993 – Present)
Steve Cooper brought the same dedication and love for food into corporate events, exclusive spectacular weddings and businesses all over Orange County, California. It wasn’t just about serving meals; it was about being passionately creative.
Soon, Steve’s wife Sandy Cooper came on board, bringing intense attention to detail and the zeal of the Momma Bear of the family business.
Christina Cooper: Sales Manager – Canyon Catering (2015 – Present)
Then another generation joined in Christina Cooper, currently the Sales Manager and Special Events coordinator after a decade in the family business.
